When I was young, I honestly thought handing out Christmas cards was an outdated tradition which pretty much no one around my age was doing. I have now changed my mind and so I send Christmas cards to everyone in my address book. It's a lot of fun to post and get sent cards and it's also an enjoyable way to remain in contact with friends and family who I may not get to hear from during the rest of the year.

I just realised that Christmas cards can be a collectors item so I have started collecting handmade Christmas cards. I keep any unusual cards I see in December but also search on the internet for Christmas cards. They are on sale at any time and a safe way to buy them is at auction.
