When I was younger, I really believed that posting out Christmas cards was a lost kind of tradition which absolutely no one in my generation was interested in doing. I no longer think that and so I post Christmas cards to everyone in my address book. It's plenty of fun to keep in contact this way and get sent cards and it's also a fun way to stay in contact with friends and family who I might not get to see at other times during the year.

I just discovered that Christmas cards can be a collectors item and I have started collecting German Christmas cards. I keep any unusual cards I see before Christmas but also look around on the net for Christmas cards. They can be bought at auction whenever you want and a good way to buy them is at auction.
