For many years, I believed that handing out Christmas cards was a past custom which almost no one I knew was ever going to do. I no longer believe that to be the case and so I give Christmas cards to everyone I know. It's loads of fun to post and receive cards in the mail and it's also a fun way to stay in contact with friends and family who I may not otherwise manage to talk to earlier in the year.

I have also found out that Christmas cards might be a collectors item and I have started collecting unused Christmas cards. I keep any exceptional cards I see in December but also look online for Christmas cards. They can be bought at any time of the year and a hassle free way to find them is at auction.
